Create a Vibrant Islamic Neighborhood

Opportunities for Real Estate Investments The Indianapolis Land Bank & Our Shared Vision to Create a Vibrant Islamic Neighborhood

Sister Dr. Deborah Middleton and architect students Tyler Kraft and Chris Baker will provide an informative presentation on how to acquire residential, commercial and industrial properties through the Indianapolis Land Bank and Renew Indianapolis for private and non-profit investment. The city of Indianapolis holds title to a large number of properties throughout the city. There currently is a wonderful opportunity to create a vibrant Islamic multi-cultural neighborhood near the downtown of Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Land Bank and Renew Indianapolis are two organizations that provide property and buildings to purchase to non profits and private investors for redevelopment at fire sale prices. Properties (land and buildings in need of restoration) currently are available for as little as $1500 – 3000 for sale. Many of these properties are located near or in communities with heavy investment by the City and Local Community Revitalization organizations. There currently is a wonderful opportunity to create a vibrant Islamic multi-cultural neighborhood near the downtown of Indianapolis.

The Al Huda Foundation is excited to consider these opportunities to purchase property, create new business opportunities, and provide shelter for needy families and we would like to invite our community members to learn more about this opportunity and engage in lively discussion on the possibilities.

Please encourage your friends and family to come to this weeks Friday Talk by Dr. Deborah Middleton Architecture Professor Ball State University.
