Alhuda Board of Directors Election Process

 

Steps 1, 2, and 3 are complete. We are on step 4.

 In an effort to ensure a fair and transparent process, we are asking all community members who are eligible to participate in this election to help us prepare for this process.

1. We ask all members to update their information using the attached membership form (also
available on http://alhudafoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/AlhudaFoundation-membership.pdf)

Only if:
a) You have changed your mailing address in the last 3 years,
b) You changed your marital status in the last 3 years,
c) There is a misspelling in your name and/or household members names in the attached
members list (this list is also posted in Alhuda Masjid at the bulletin board)
d) Your son(s) and/or daughter(s) if they meet ALL of the following conditions:
I. He/She is 18 years of age or older by November 1st, 2014 (born before
November 2nd, 1996)
II. Currently He/She is a member of your household

Any changes must be mailed and postmarked no later than November 15th, 2014 to:

2. One membership form must be filled for each address.

3. According to Alhuda Foundation Bylaws, in order to be eligible to vote, you have to be a
member of Alhuda Foundation for at least one year by November 1st, 2014. If you believe you
are a member and your name is not on the members list “we apologize about that”, please fill in
the membership form and then mail it to the above Election committee PO Box address
postmarked no later than November, 15th, 2014.

4. Nomination Process: This process has changed from previous elections. You can nominate
yourself or any other eligible Alhuda member (for a total of up to Nine (9) nominees). According
to Alhuda Foundation Bylaws, in order to be eligible for nomination to the Board of Directors,
you have to be a member of Alhuda Foundation for at least three years by November 1st, 2014.

5. All eligible nominees will be asked by the Election Committee to sign a nomination acceptance
form.
