Midwest Basketball and Quran Competition

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Community Members,

We are excited to announce that AICI will be hosting an annual basketball tournament on the weekend of November 9-10th (Veterans Day weekend). There will be 6 age groups: boys and girls elementary, boys and girls middle school, and boys and girls high school. This will be a wonderful opportunity to come together with other communities, showcase our skills, and enjoy some friendly competition.

To prepare for the upcoming tournament, we will begin holding practice sessions starting the week of August 19th. These practices are open to all skill levels, and we encourage anyone interested to join. Practices will be held twice a week and are structured by age group as follows:

* Elementary Boys:
* Wednesdays: 4:00 PM -5:30 PM
* Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
* Middle School Boys:
* Mondays: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
* Thursdays: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* High School Boys:
* Tuesdays: 8:00 PM – 9:45 PM
* Sundays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
* Elementary Girls:
* Tuesdays: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
* Saturdays: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
* Middle & High School Girls:
* Tuesdays: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
* Saturdays: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

The cost to participate is a one-time payment of $100. This fee covers all practice sessions leading up to the tournament and includes the team jersey. Please use the link at
